Workshop on Life Cycle Assessment highlights the importance of sustainability within the GreenHub project

On April 20, the workshop “Life Cycle Assessment: What is it? What is it for? How is it done?” took place as part of the GreenHub project activities.

The session was held in a hybrid format from the PIEP facilities at CIC – Centro de Inovação de Cerveira, bringing together participants interested in deepening their knowledge of sustainability and tools to support environmental decision-making.

During the workshop, the fundamental concepts of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) were presented, along with its main applications and contributions to promoting more sustainable strategies across different sectors.

This initiative, part of the GreenHub project, was carried out in collaboration with project partners, namely CTAG, XERA, INEGA, and the Xunta de Galicia, reinforcing a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in the Euro-region of Northern Portugal and Galicia.

The GreenHub project thus continues to establish itself as a driver for the promotion of the circular economy, contributing to a more sustainable and competitive Euro-region.
